Heaven On My Mind

when i am alone, i can convince myself of my own transparency.
its a strange thought, to lie in bed knowing that in that moment, the only affect your presence has is the push of your weight on mattress springs. my presence can be reduced into a physical quantity.
the night i fell onto the floor from 6 feet up, i couldn't help but compare myself to the old adage of a tree falling in a forest. with no one around, did i make a sound at all?
